Sedric decided he wanted to make a difference in his role as a Physical Therapist, prioritizing people over profit.

Meet Sedric Cooper

A native of Jackson, MS, Sedric received his B.S. in Biology from Jackson State University, and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.

Sedric has over 14 years of experience in different settings, including early childhood intervention, industrial rehabilitation and ergonomics, outpatient orthopedics, hospital acute care, skilled nursing, and home health.

The results from a recent survey showed that 82% of Americans believe the U.S. healthcare systems puts profits ahead of people, and 72% believe healthcare groups are not doing a good job of caring for people as they age. Sedric decided he wanted to make a difference in his role as a Physical Therapist, quitting his full-time job and stepping out on faith to open Right On Time Physical Therapy, LLC in April of 2018. His mission is to consistently provide evidence based, outcome-driven, and personable patient care that prioritizes people over profit.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
- Colossians 3:23-24

Over the past 5 years he has consistently maintained that goal by providing 1-on-1 care to all patients, which he believes has facilitated better care and expeditious outcomes. Sedric believes in Colossians 3:23-24 which states, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

FUN FACT: Sedric is married to his high school sweetheart. He told her that he would one day marry her after giving her a promise ring during their senior year in high school. They have been together for 27 years and share three children.
